The Luxembourg State provides a financial support of 50% of the actual equipment costs, with a maximum of 3.000 Euro for the production of warm water and 5.000 Euro, in case the heating of the building is also supported. > Mémorial N83 Chapter3 Article 7

Some local authorities do also support an investment in the solar thermal energy. In order to install solar thermal collectors, a building permit may be required.

Even the Fund "nova naturstrom" of Enovos rewards projects with particularly innovative or didactic valuable character, which concern renewable energies in Luxembourg. A solar premium may be applied for central heating support or for large installations in public facilities.
